The Channel Manager role is part of Touchdown’s sales organization and is responsible for managing a targeted group of Microsoft Integrator partner relationships for growth and profitability. Channel Managers will focus on partner recruitment, partner & sales enablement, pipeline management, and forecasting, as well as proactive business planning and business development with our partners.
Key responsibilities
- Set up the Solution Partner Program.
- Target and recruit new partners.
- Onboard new partners by training them on Touchdown processes and sales tools, information availability, and other steps necessary to ramp up quickly as a Touchdown partner.
- Train and enable partner sales and solution specialists in how to position and sell Touchdown.
- Travel extensively across defined territory to meet face-to-face with resellers, customers and attend various trades shows.
- Develop strong relationship with the Microsoft ecosystem.
Skills
- Familiarity with the Microsoft reseller and partner channel.
- Experience with email marketing technology/software.
- Experience in an indirect sales role working with a partner network either directly or indirectly.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing is strongly preferred.
- 2 – 7 years of experience in technology sales or channel management required.
- Proven experience in consultative sales and relationship building.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial desire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer facing and public presentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal skills.
While not required, preference will be given to a bilingual skill in Deutsch.
